Company history
Jan and Kathy Tury took over Beechwood Funeral Service in 2003. Jan had been an employee of the firm employed as the manager having been time served for many years in both the National and Independent sectors holding posts in both Gloucestershire and Worcestershire before the decision to finally take on board a lifelong ambition to owning and running his own funeral home.
Owing to the family orientated attitude towards what we believe in, has given us the good fortune to keep the same staff throughout which in turn serves testimony to what we do.

In 2005, Dan (Jan's eldest son) joined the team, and proves to be a valuable member of the team.

Our team also consists of our part time staff: Russ Graham, Geoff Matthews, Chris Abbley, Steve Farmer and not forgetting David, my brother and Bob Sandford my brother in law. I am pleased to announce Bob Sandford Snr. joins us from November 2008.
Small enough to Care - Big enough to Cope
One of the main objectives and principals of our aim, is to be always available day and night; and that no matter what the request, nothing is too much trouble.
Our service runs 24/7 continuously and has dealt with families and funeral arrangements from all over the globe, including repatriations from european countries, the West Indies and even Australia and New Zealand.
Our facility and knowledge enables us to be able to cope with arrangements on a personal level to anywhere in the world without the use of an outside contractor.
Closer to home, our service and commitment to families we serve remains at the highest level and proud to acknowledge the dedication of the staff both full and part time shown at all times.
